We start out with freshly chopped onions, coat them with a light dusting of whole wheat flour, fry them in vegetable oil until they’re a golden brown, and, as a finishing touch, sprinkle a touch of salt on them while they’re still warm. This simple process brings out the best in our fried onions. Crispy, crunchy, sweet, and salty they make a delicious topping for classic hot dishes such as green bean casserole.
